The WordPress community thrives on the passion of individuals who don’t just participate, but who build bridges, mentor others, and lead with heart. Mumtahina Faguni exemplifies this spirit perfectly.
A tech enthusiast and passionate WordCamper from Bangladesh, Faguni brings a vibrant zest for exploring new ideas and cultures to everything she does. Deeply inspired by open-source collaboration, her journey from attending her first WordCamp in 2019 to becoming a central figure in global initiatives is a testament to her dedication.
Her contributions are both deep and wide. Professionally, with over 7 years in the ecosystem, she has helped grow more than 15 innovative WordPress products at Startise, leveraging her expertise in content strategy, product marketing, and growth hacking. Within the community, her leadership shines through key roles: she served as the WordPress 6.7 Docs Release Lead, has been a core contributor to multiple major releases, and is a driving force behind community-building events like the WordPress Women’s Day in Dhaka.
Her relentless commitment is visible in her ongoing roles as an Organizer for WordCamp Asia 2026, following her work on the 2025 edition, and as a speaker and organizer at WordCamps across the region, including Dhaka, Pokhara, and Sylhet.
Beyond her strategic mind and professional skill, Faguni is known for her thoughtful communication, deep understanding of user needs, and a genuine love for building meaningful human connections. In her free time, she fuels her curiosity through travel and storytelling.
On behalf of both DaisyWP and TrueWP, we celebrate Mumtahina Faguni and extend our sincere gratitude for her boundless passion, her inspiring leadership, and for tirelessly working to make our community more connected, inclusive, and vibrant.
